In-Person Worship Sunday, Feb. 7

The Church Council has decided to return to in-person worship in the sanctuary, with the support of the COVID Reopening Task Force, starting Sunday, February 7th.

We will hold both the 8:30am and 10:30am services in-person, along with continuing to live-stream both services.

We are following the CDC’s guidelines for gatherings.

  • If you plan to attend, please enter using the Sanctuary doors on the South West side of the church. When you enter, ushers will ask for all attendee’s names. This will be used for contact tracing, if necessary.
  • Masks will be required. It has been shown that masks are the most effective tool we currently have against spreading the virus. Masks will be worn at all times over mouth and nose. Children under the age of 5 will not be required to wear a mask.
  • Singing will be discouraged. Research has shown singing spreads droplets in higher quantities than talking. You are invited to mouth along with the words, as led by our pastors and song leaders.
  • Offering will be received as you leave the worship service.
  • Holy Communion will be offered at the February 7th service. Each person who comes to worship will self-select a sealed wafer/communion cup from tables located at the doors to the Sanctuary.
  • Ushers will guide people to available pews before the service and will dismiss congregants by pew at the end of the service.

We will continue to monitor Covid infections. If a spike should occur, in-person services may be cancelled. Your safety and the safety of our neighbors is our first priority.

We look forward to seeing you again!
