10:30am | Rooted and Reaching | LIVE from First Lutheran Brookings ELCA

Broadcast live from First Lutheran Church, ELCA in Brookings, South Dakota.

Today is the first Sunday in a series: Rooted and Reaching.

The life of faith is one marked with a daily return to God's promises: to the claims made on us in Holy Baptism, to the words of scripture that tell of God's mighty acts, and to the nourishment we need to be the people of God. But then what? What does God have to say about life in the world, on work-days, while we rest, with families, in relationship, as citizens, when life is dificult? This season we know that God is rooting us in the in the good soil of faith. Together, we discern, what then shall we do? As individuals? As communities? As a congregation?
